About Us
Our Story
Lacasa is a mid-sized assisted living dedicated to Alzheimer's and dementia care. It is owned and operated by Meredith Harris. Meredith is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience. Her background is in acute care, near rehabilitation, home care and she has specialized in dementia care. Her assistant manager Robin Phipps has been dedicated to La Casa for over 18 years and has been coined "the dementia whisperer" by her peers. Robin is gifted with patience, compassion and a keep ability to connect with even the most challenging residents .
We are dedicated to providing residents with the highest standard of care and allowing people to age in place. One of Annapolis' top physicians provides weekly medical oversight. A balance of human interaction, behavioral management and interactive activities help sooth and enhance each resident's quality of life. Our team approach focuses on supporting and maintaining a person's level of independence. We are committed to never underestimating a person's potential.
